Stefanie B. Reda, Director

Stefanie holds a dual certification in New York State for general and special education with 20 years experience as a classroom teacher in a religious school. Her expertise is vast across content areas with specific experience in teaching Social Studies, English Language Arts, Science/STEAM, Religion, and a World Language. Stefanie Reda’s educational background includes a double Master’s degree in education from Manhattan College. She is a doctoral student in the Innovation for Curriculum and Instruction Ph.D. program at Fordham University. As the current Director of the New York City Professional Development Resource Center for 855 Religious and Independent Schools, Stefanie has developed and implemented a strategic vision for supporting the unique needs of religious and independent school educators to ensure they have the support and resources to cultivate a thriving learning environment for their students.

Erin M. Cain, Program Associate

Erin is certified in general elementary education in both Massachusetts and New York State. She has lead classroom teacher experience in both religious and independent schools. As a classroom teacher, she has taught all elementary content areas in depth, including math, writing, guided reading, science, and social studies; her background also includes teaching in the early childhood sector. Erin Cain holds a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Applied Psychology, also from Boston College. Presently, Erin is the Program Associate of the New York City Professional Development Resource Center for 855 Religious and Independent Schools.

Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Business she is adept at providing administrative support, her expertise spans event planning, calendar and budget management, and data analysis. Her problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail enable her to be a trusted partner in achieving the center's goals.
